ABT w/ Shrimp?

MY wife told me about some ABT's she had a few years ago at a party. She said that there was shrimp inside of the ABT.[p]She could't remember if the shrimp had been cooked prior to stuffing it into the pepper or if it was placed in there raw and then cooked the normal way.[p]Any one tried this variation of the ABT? If yes, what is the method.

    Eric,[p]I would peel...de-vein. and boil in any seasoning of your choice for about 2 minutes. Sort of like yopu would do for shrimp coctail...just pull them a bit shy of done...the 30 or so minutes on the grill with the ABT's...will finnish them off!! If you over-due them...they'll get rubbery!![p]One other thing...when you pull them from the boiling water, go directly to an ice bath to stop cooking! keep them iced until you put them inside the Pepper![p]Enjoy...[p]Evans

    they are actually 1 of our favs here. I usually devein and season with a little salt, place the shrimp in 1/2 jalapeno, wrap with 1/2 slice of bacon and cook at about 400 degrees until bacon is done.

    Eric,[p]The fellas below are clearly from somewhere you can get fresh shrimps...[p]I take a half jalapeno and put in a cream cheese "bed". On this I put a "previously individually quick frozen" medium shrimp, dust with the rub of choice, then lay on more cream cheese and wrap in bacon. My T Fine.[p]Ken
