New Egg Table, almost finished.

Just have to stain the last few peices of wood I put on and get some Stainless chain or something around just in case. It's pretty stable, I don't want it to fall though. Had the egg about a month, going to low slow a roast tomorrow and pull it for supper. Loving the egg so far, just realized I really need to refinish the deck!

I like the table... what is the wheel under the Egg for?Kent Madison MS
-
Thanks BBQ. The wheels are for moving the table, almost like a wheelbarrow. Plus they act as a 3rd set of legs when it sits level. Not a planned idea, I was hoping the porcelain tile would offset the weight of the egg and it would hang off the side, in theory it would have but in real life.. not so much. I didn't want another set of legs to try and keep level and was going to put wheels on one set of legs anyway so I scratched my head and ended up with adjustable wheels under the egg. Gota run check egg temp!

I see...
Why not just buy another Egg and hang it off the other sideKent Madison MS -
$7.00 wheels, $700.00 egg for counterweight.... I should have went with the egg and never looked back ... it's "amost finished" could always change the plan!

Now that's a unique table. Did you draw up plans or just wing it?
-
I drew up plans, and then winged it a little.

Nice looking table, very unique
You will get a little more stability if you will change the placement of the green feet. Put one directly under the dome hinge, place the other two equidistant around the base.
Nice Job :cheer:
