Want to build an egg into an outdoor kitchen set up. Anyone out there ever done this? Trying to make it look great. Facing area with stone, was told to build basically a "shrine" to egg in lower, recessed spot.

    pat meyers, I been thinking a brick cabinet of sorts with recessed cove like places to slide in the eggs, I have a large and small. A picture of a brick bbq island that had a couple of bbq pits recessed in it was in the news but I searched and never could find more info on the writers name or subject on the internet. I believe the egg with counter on the sides would be sufficient and just leave the front open so you can slide it in and out.

    Thanks for the pointer and the kind words..as far as the plans..they werent none..I drew out enough to set the 4x4`s for the roof..the rest was seat of the pants designing..LOL[p]Wess

    WessB,[p]That makes it all the more impressive. I have to get out a level and a ruler to hang a two hook shelf in my garage, so I envy folks that can seat of the pants picture and build stuff like that.[p]Great work. I have forwarded your URL to many egg folks to envy your egg cabana.
