Cracked feet??

I just looked down on my not quite 2 month old large & 2 of the 3 feet it is sitting on are cracked! It is on a cement slab near the house so no chance the ground wasn't stable. We havent moved the egg. Any ideas on what could have caused it?? I wouldn't think getting the egg to a high temp would do it. We are probably about a week away from our table being finished & had planned to use the feet in that. At least the egg isn't wobbling.

Stephanie,
Hit up your dealer for a handful of them. Mine will give me as many as I want for free. He will most likely replace the cracked ones, but you could use another 3 for sure. Most use them between the platesetter and a pizza stone to keep from charring a pie with the heat transfer. The same set is used for breads, cinnamon rolls, under dutch ovens and all sorts of stuff. If he charges you anything it would be minimal.
Not sure why they would crack though. -

Greed...If I had to pay that I would stop buying accessories and lump from my dealer. I suspect that most have extras because they didn't use them when they sold a egg in a table...maybe $2, but $5...I'm doing without.Visit my blog, dedicated to my Big Green Egg Recipies at http://www.bigtsbge.blogspot.com You can also follow my posts on FaceBook under the name Keep On Eggin' or the link http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Keep-On-Eggin/198049930216241

Yeah, Adam, but don't you still have those embarrassing pics of your dealer?
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

I'll get some more...didn't like the local dealer so we bought our egg 50 miles away. Guess I'll try the local guy first - even $10 for 2 would be easier than 100 mile round trip.
I am concerned with why they broke. Strange since we haven't moved the egg.
Thanks! -
I find bag balm helps mine... oh you mean the egg feet LOL
( LC tried pouring red wine on mine one time and that does not work either....)
