    Glenn,
Man that looks good. I just ate lunch and now I'm craving Pizza. Sad thing is, I got a whole pizza from Pizza hut sitting in the fridge, and that ain't what I'm craving. LOL

Glenn,[p]When I cook pizza it burns the bottom. I noticed that you have the crust on a wire mesh. Is that the key?

Works for me! It's called a pizza screen. Some have said they've found them at Wally World but I couldn't find them at mine. I got mine online. Shipping was a killer because I couldn't think of anything else to get. I'd suggest getting two. That way you can be prepping a pizza while cooking another. The 14" works with the BGE pizza stone. Here's a link:[p]

Pakak,[p]If you're in the market for new pizza screens, Pakak, Cresco Rest. Supply store at 225 and Alameda in Aurora has them in all sizes.[p]Paul
  • BOB,
If you dust you pizza stone with corn meal and put the pizza on, it will not burn or stick. [p]Jerry

PapaQ,[p]Thanks! Might have to check that place out when I'm in the Denver area sometime.

  • Pakak,
My husband went to a local restaurant supply company (we found it in the phone book) and got a couple of screens for around $4 each. They have lots of good stuff and the people there were very helpful although I am sure our purchase was a small one for them.

espnga,[p]I checked several different places besides Wally World, including Linens n Things, Bed Bath and Beyond and the local high-end kitchen place. No cigar. I didn't think of looking for a local restaurant supply place, but just looked. I doubt I would have been successful locally going that route. Probably turns out online was best for me. For two, it turned out to be $12.77 - about half of which was shipping. While not a lot in real dollars, that percentage kills me! LOL
