Garapa and Granite table
Lightnin' Bolt
Posts: 37
My local BBQ store just delivered my new toy after a few months of waiting! The framing is square steel tubing and the wood surround and decking is oiled garapa wood. There is tons of storage below, so I am able to keep most of my BBQ toys in the lower cabinet. This thing is built like a tank! The custom builder did an incredible job with the whole build and I am very pleased.

Thanks! I do not have the plans, as I just told them what I wanted and they built it, but it is basically the dimensions of a 60" table with the addition of a lower shelf with a wood surround.

Very nice Table

Nice table, we just built one from ipe or ironwood, I'll take a few photos and post them when we get the wheels on. You may want to think about a using pave stone for the egg to set on. Those feet will not give you enough clearance. Thanks for the photo!

First off, the table is a real dandy. Should last forever.
Although I would put a concrete paver under the green feet. I even put 4 felt pads on the bottom of the paver to add another air space and protect the shelf top. The heat transfer is amazing with these ceramic units and sure don't want any bigbad fires outside the egg.
Garapa may be some pretty sense stuff, and taugh to burn, just better to be safe than sorry. -
love your table ~

Really nice table, I have also decided to frame mine with square tubing. Hope to have pics up in two weeks.

Outstanding work there. Really impressed with steel square-tubing frame as well.
