for 10 years now I've been using this low profile plastic container to store some of my eggcessories outside by merely scooting it under my table. It finally has gotten old and broken so I've been looking for a replacement with little luck.

Then today I found this big 17 gal Rubber Maid that measures 43" x 19.5" x 6.7". It's called aFashion Clears Underbed box. It was just 17 bucks.

I thought this might work for other eggers with a storage problem and a large table. My trouble is I have to return it as it's too long to fit under my table!

Pretty amazing that the box lasted 10 years. They probably won't do that any more.

BTW if you sent me your address, I still have not received it.

I sent it this morning via this board's email service - it's probably in your spam filter. You mind looking?

What size do you want? I found one that's 40x20x7H.

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Thanks - that made me go shopping on the net and I have found one I can use on Amazon though S & H will be about as much as the box! Oh well if I can pay $43 for shipping 10 pounds of Pearls hot dogs I better shut up!

Glad you found something you can use. It's gotten so the web is the first place I look for stuff.

I love the Pearls...but $43 for shipping? Wow!

yup - dogs were $45 and 2nd day air was $43.

I hear you about shopping on the net - it's just that our community has 100k population and our SMSA has 325k so shopping is pretty diverse and plentiful - but it seems like I'm the only one looking for a box this approx size and nobody carries them!
