Help to get an Egg Fest going

Unknown
edited November -1 in EggHead Forum
I just talked to my local dealer and planted into their heads about haveing a local Egg Fest in my home town of Irmo, (Columbia) South Carolina. When I ask the question, she told me that they were selling a good many Eggs. I told her since she knew all of the people they sold to, maybe they could send out a flyer to the customers and ask opinions as to getting a Fest going. Any input appreciated from the forum.[p]Thanks,[p]Jerry

<p />Jwirlwind,[p]I recommend you get in touch with Grillmeister. With the help of Spring Chicken, who took the lead on organizing the first and second annual Texas Eggfest in Austin, TX. He knows all the ins and outs of what you need to do to get one going. The next thing I would recommend you doing is going through the forum profiles and making a list of Eggers in your area. Spring Chicken started things going this way and came up with a suprisingly large list. Then you start sending emails and seeing who would be interested, then talk to BGE and your local dealer about sponsoring and donating door prizes, etc., etc.[p]Like I said, Grillmeister and Spring Chicken are good resources.[p]Good luck![p]TRex
