Can't change anything in my profile

When I try to edit my profile and remove my signature line, I get an error message "this user is already registered. If you lost your password click on the lost password link" (something similar to that wording).

How can I make changes to my profile? Thanks.

    We may have caused a problem while working on the duplicate handle issue. We'll have to investigate. I'll update this thread when we fix the issue.
