Burbon flank steak anyone ?

Boy, this has been one egg'n weekend :) Had a lot of fun doing it.

Tonight, I decided to try the recipe in the August edition of Cuisine at Home, pages 6-7. If this looks/sounds good, please by the magazine for the recipe as they have no advertisements and are supported by subscriptions....


Anyway, they had this recipe that included Coke, whiskey, pineapple juice and a buch of other great things... They usually know what they're doing so I gave it a try.... WOW!!!! The whole family loved it. I usually save recipes in my computer, but with this one, my son asked me to make sure there's a written copy somewhere, just in case the computer crashes ;) (of course, Alf licked the plate).

And we picked up some Lancaster County corn to which the egg also did justice .... Hope everyone had a great holiday....

    sounds great! . . i usually marinade flank steaks (when i'm grilling, not rolling them) in an oil and vinager base. .. but i have found that a good shot of almost anything. . .bourbon, tequila, vodka. . .to the marinade adds an extra dash of flavor. . .try whatever you have in the liquor cabinet!!! .

    UnConundrum,[p]Be sure to try the pork tenderloin w/ mango salsa from the july issue. My wife said it just might be the best meal yet off the egg. [p]-smokeydrew
