2 Briskets in the XL

Hello to all,
I want to cook 2 brisket packers (app. 12 pound per) in the XL. New XL, with the higher lid.
I have the triangle hanger, 16 inch stone, 18 inch Pan and the BGE grid enhancer for the XL (second grid approx 4 inches higher than the standart grid.
My idea is on brisket on every grid.
But I´m wondering about the heat distribution, because the bottom brisket(grid) is very close to the stone / pan. Affects this the brisket in any way ? Is there enought heat under this brisket, because there is only a few free air between the grid and the pan...
Or is there any heat problem, because the stone / pan emit heat to the bottom brisket, and that is very close to the stone / pan ?
also the lump space is limited in the fire ring / fire box with this set up. Is there still enough lump space for a long cook - 14 hours ?
Suppose it makes sens not to fill up lump until it touches the stone underside...
Otherwise the stone will get to hot and affect the bottom brisket...
What is the temp difference of both grids with this set up ?
Is this set up the way to go, or da ya prefer another way ? Both briskets on the upper grid i.e. ?
Thanks for your help

Simon,
Not sure if this is answering your question but I did two butts over a brisket with no problems. The brisket was at the normal grid level. I used the platesetter with a drip pan on top of the platesetter. Brisket over brisket should be fine.

You should be able to do both on the main grid side by side, indirect.

I was thinking the same thing. Both should fit on the bottom just fine. I just did a packer and a flat last Friday. -
