the food was all awesome. we had wings, avacoado sliders, crawfish pizza, brownies, steak kabobs, grilled baloney, grilled sausage and shrimp, etc..... not a bad bite at the eggfest.

we were having a blast until the little one got in his first ant bed. he's fine, only got bit a few times. i didn't get the lady's name.... but, a very nice lady had some "ice" that we were able to put on the ant bites to keep them from itching. it saved us out there.

i'm looking forward to seeing some more pictures!

Nice pictures and thanks for posting them. Again, looks like all were having a good time, good food, I see short sleeves so the weather must have been good.

the rain has managed to hold off all day, which was thought impossible last night. i wish i could have gotten more pictures, but with the threat of rain and the eggs all set up under the pavilion, i took all my pics from the same spot.

i ate a lot of great food in a short period of time. all the cooks were kind enough to bring their food around to everyone. the food was actually coming around faster than i could eat it!

there were PLENTY of people with cameras, so you guys can expect to see some GRATE pictures from this event of the crowd and the food. i saw tons of pictures being taken.

the pics are going to all get better from here, that's why i posted mine first. hahahahaha.

the musician was really good as well. when we walked up, he was playing country (which i don't really dig), but within a few songs, he was playing green day.

    Jason good job on pictures.
In your 4th shot the mini is in a
    different looking holder. Could you
    tell us anything about it.

Here were two of those. Below the egg was a drawer for storage. Looked to be made of plywood. I think there are some plans for them somewhere on the forum.

Proof the 'Loney made it to the Fest !!!

I was 'shunned' until people put a bite into their mouth - "This doesn't taste at all like baloney!!".

How did the weather turn out? I heard on the news there was a tornado in MS. -RP

Much north of the Fest, but a lot of destruction just a few miles north of where I live....

We had to deal with wind down here on the Gulf Coast (about 200 miles south of the tornado damage), but the 80-90% chance of rain passed us by. :woohoo: :woohoo:

Thanks for sharing the pics!!! I am soooo happy the weather turned out ok for ya'll down there. We got pounded here in H'burg, but nothing like up in North MS.

I hate I missed this fest, but dental work & the weather kept me at the house today. I hope I have the pleasure of making the next one though! :)

Thanks for the pics, Jason. It was good to see you again and a pleasure meeting your wife and son. Jorge Cancel (Tin Man) made the holders for the mini's. They are really well made and very functional. He even gave one to be used as a door prize.
