Hello all..
I've gone through a ton of threads here on different finishes for Cyprus tables..and websites..and even a few calls to paint stores, yet I am still unclear of what my best option is. Can anyone with more experience help shed some light?
spar Varnish and Spar eurthane seem to be the favorites here but the paint and deck folks say those will trap too much moisture with Cypruse being so porus causing it to peel/ chip so use a deck sealer/ stain..
Im still a little unclear of the differences between spar varnish and spar urethane..but boat folks seem to like the varnish better
I hear tounge oil and spar sarnish stay tacky..
What about Danish oil? or using that or an oil based stain then the spar option?
THANKS... Oh, I'll get some pics up soon of my poor eggs current delapitated home and the new one I just built!
