in the past i have cooked these direct on a fairly hot fire with lid closed, 350 to 400? basted with a vinigar/salt/other spices till done then glazed them with a sugary tomato based sauce.
takes 1 hour to 1 1/2 hrs.

I cook those just like meaty spares... 225-250 for about 4 hours. Don't like them quite as well as "real" ribs, but they come out quite good.

I did up a little diddy on those a ways back. I sho do love 'em at 250 direct! Cook 'em tils they's done and tenda...mebbe a few hours.[p]Check the link for the low down...with pixtures. Hope you are stylin in Carolinin!
