Questions on storing my Egg for a year

Unknown
edited November -1 in EggHead Forum
Haven't had my large egg for 6 months and will be moving temporarily. Plan on keeping the medium egg with me while renting but will put the large egg and its cart into one of the storage pods for a year. My cart is kind of an upgrade from the standard cart design with a stainless steel top and dual gas burner cooktops adjacent to the egg. I need advice on storing the Egg.[p]Plan A - Store it in the cart and add some padding around the sides in the gaps and under the bottom where it rests on the bricks and then strap it down to the cart and strap the cart to the pod?[p]Or take it completely out of the cart. Plan B[p]Or too risky to store in a POD? Plan C[p]Thanks in advance for youir advice and opinions.[p]Easy

Easy Rawlins, plan D - store it my house for a year. :-)
If by a storage pod you mean a container which is lifted up and put into place by forklift, I think you will be ok with plan A.
