belly bacon skin on or off

I have 10 pounds of belly to make bacon but I'm wandering if I leave skin on or off? If and when do you remove it? I have high mountain buckboard seasoning.

I purchased one without the skin. I don't think you want it on while making bacon. If you like craklins or chicharrones you could save it for that.Molly

Cure it and smoke it skin on. Skin it after when it's warm, it will come off easier.

Cure & smoke skin on. Then remove and save the skins for flavoring soups and stews.
