Dear Eggers,
As a new owner of a small Egg--and new Club member--I'd appreciate any advice (grilling with a raised grid or not; low and slow, etc.), tips, tricks, or favorite recipes using this great cooker. This is a great forum with a great network of people. Thanks much, and especially to Nature Boy for helping to get me started.
Mike

    Kanbun,
You can check out the "tips" section of my website for some indirect setups for the small egg, also some of the cooks I have done using the different setups in the "cooks" section...HTH[p]Wess

    WessB,
Great info! Thanks! I'm already at work on the indirect set up.

Kanbun,[p]WessB's set up looks great. I just used fire bricks and an extra grill with a great deal of success. Have fun with your new best friend!![p]Smokey

    <p />Kanbun,
I'm only a yearling with a small but thanks to this forum I feel as though I'm about to walk upright. A couple of good ideas in photo.1)$5.oo rain cap from Hardware store. Fits over Daisey wheel. 2) Wine cork on stem of temp guage. Can then take out with food and plug hole with sheetrock nail. May extend life of guage (my first one went in 2 months) 3) Save ends of onions when prepping food; pop into egg and drive everyone crazy. It would be great if some of the masters here would also jump in with a few of their favorite tricks. Have fun [p]
