[p]Last year we decided to move our egg in to an unused smoke house, which seemed kind of appropriate... You may remember the pic,
[/p]
[p]Well, what you can't tell from the pic is that the yard in front of the Egg Haus is almost all mud. It's a very shaded area, and Alf's dog door opens out into that area, making it virtually impossible to grow grass. My loving wife didn't want me walking through the mud to the egg (she was somewhat fearfull I'd limit those visits), so we embarked on fixing the situation...[/p]
[p] A couple months later, we have a patio suitable for any egg.
complete with a cabanna for Alf
and a pond
Notice the hammock waiting for Nature Boy's visit
[/p]
[p] Oh yes, and for you Alf fans.... He loves the pond, and has already created a pond game... Here's some pics, but they're higher resolution, so links instead of posts:

UnConundrum,[p]Wow, what a transformation! Beautiful job...did you do all that work yourself...if so, another WOW![p]Alf looks like he's enjoying his new pond, LOL! We have a small one, and our dogs love it to jump in it and cool off. They also have a couple of pond games...one is "get the plant", where they try and snag all the floating plants and drop them all around the yard, and the second one is "catch the fish"...they're much more fun to chase and catch than toys...![p]Tonia

UnConundrum,
Really enjoyed the pics. My wife can not understand why anyone would put a smoker inside a smoker. She also thinks that anyone who takes 20 plus hours to cook something has to much time on their hands. You have a real nice place.....greggor

Must be an alarm system to protect his Eggs.

That is a beautiful patio and landscaping. It's relaxing just to look at the pictures.

I've seen some pretty nice tables for Eggs, but I believe your Egg Haus sets a new standard. How do you vent the smoke?
-
UnConundrum,[p]Ahh, you've created the eggers dream house. Very cool![p]Now does the Egg House have a fridge for cold beverages?
-
UnConundrum,
man, that is beautiful. . .but i can't help thinking about how, for the price of what that must a cost you, you could have bought a bunch more eggs and a whole s@H#load of prime beef!!. .but, dang, this is really nice lookin. . .[p]and i echo mr. earl. ..very cool dog. ..

BamaBob,[p]I have a small smoke stack, tin, that goes through the roof and a power vent on that...
