Very good taste after a overnight marinade. Egg was 550 and I did 2 min per side and then flipped, shut it down, and cooked to 125 before letting rest 10 min. Next time I will get the egg hotter or lower my grid so that I get a HARD sear

Looks very good.
Dry the outside to remove your marinade before you char on the grill.
Liquid will prevent a good char and gives more of a steam cook to your steak or just the marinade burns.
Take care,

That looks good to me

I always forget which way you should slice it for tacos. With or against the grain?
Looks like a nice cook to me as well. -
I always slice flank across the grain...

Thanks, I don't know why I always have to look that up each time.

i read where it was across the grain as well...I think a spider purchase will help my char

We've been known to have Flank Steak Friday at our house multiple weeks in a row. Very economical piece of meat and quite good. I marinate in a italian dressing style concotion I mix up.
Great cook! -
Looks good. Haven't cooked flank in a while, but always love it when I do. Also it's cheap & easy.
