can't say i'm sorry to see it go ....we skins fans saw a few good wins there over the years, but more than a few losses....still remember one totally ruined thanksgiving when clint longley came in and threw that bomb to drew pearson in the 4th quarter!!! . . .i could only hope that both gerry jones and danny snyder were standing on 'the star' when they pushed the plunger yesterday morning!!! LOL ...

Wait until you see how many losses you get in the new one :woohoo: ...Jerry Jones got us 3 Lombardi's. What has Snyder gotten you? Just goofing, Max.

I actually hate to see it go. I'm not a Cowboys fan but I have alot of memories from watching games there, and a few in person there.
The Old Stadiums are almost gone. I have a large framed picture of Atlanta's Fulton County Stadium behind my desk in my home office, taken at night under the lights.
Thank goodness we still have Soldier Field and a couple others.
Oh, and the new Cowboys Stadium....in case nobody else caught it, and it wasnt made into a big deal..but the Falcons broadcast crew noted it,,, The large glassed area's way up high above each end zone can be clear or blackened with the touch of a switch to let in or block bright sun depending on the opponents direction of play. -
I remember the Longley show well. One of the happiest moments in my life! :woohoo: you probably still wake up in cold sweats thinking about it, don't you?

I agree. It's sad seeing the old ones go. Who would have thought Yankee Stadium would be razed? I thought that was terrible. And I'm a Red Sox fan. If it concerned safety, I would understand.

What a pair to draw to, only LR and Chubby can make those guys look sillier

The first pro game I ever attended was in that stadium.

They only blew up the steel and concrete, that wonderful hole is still there, just harder to see.
