preferred cut of meat

Any thoughts of which is the preferred cut of meat between boneless rib roast OR striploin roast.
I'm intending to feed about 17 people and thinking these might be some good options becasue either is available in 12lb roasts.
Reciepes also welcome.

Rib Roast hands down. Good Luck and be prepared to have a lot of friends if you cook that puppy. I did one last year and I believe I used the reverse sear method. I think I went to about 120 internal and then removed the platesetter and seared it until I hit 135. It was awesome.

tell me more! What would expected cook time be for approx 11-12 lbs and other suggestions welcome.
