I just bought a 20 lb bag. It was a few bucks cheaper than the BGE. I can't find Royal Oak in my area.

our walmart has the royal oak hardwood lumps for 6 .75 for 10 #s---eunice , louisiana--they also have the starter bocks for $2. 29 per package.

It burns faster than RO...check out the naked whiz's charcoal database...it's got everything a growing boy needs...LOL

It does burn faster but I think it is decent lump. Price is usually pretty good and I think Ace carries it for about $12 for 20lbs.
