This was really good. It's a recipe from The Pioneer Woman. Also, a friend that came to see me this week.

Excellent! Beautiful presentation for your braised beef. :cheer: I enjoy brazing in the egg as it's fun and simple to do. The other advantage is tender meat!
With a sauce,yummmmm.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Ross. The polenta really doesn't show off in the picture, but it add's everything to the meal.

Thanks Clay. I made everybody happy. The wife loved it, and the dog were thrilled with the bones.

Thank you sir for your kind words. Yes, I should have posted a link. The Pioneer Woman has some great recipes and many of them adapt well to the BGE. She is also hilarious.

That looks very good. I like Ree Drummonds recipes. She was on The View today. Thanks for the link to the recipe.
Please invite me and Rebecca (Eenie Meenie) over to help you with that bottle of Malbec.

That's awesome. I'll have to give that goat-cheese polenta a try. A couple years ago, I was on a business trip that had me flying through Cleveland. I scheduled my flight around dinner time, so I could visit Michael Symon's restaurant, Lolita. I was delighted to discover that I was there on a day they were roasting a whole Berkshire. It (or rather, each serving...not the whole pig, of course) was served on a bed of mascarpone polenta. Magnificent!
Thanks for the pics and the links. -
Thanks George !

You and Rebecca are welcome here anytime !! Thanks.

I bet the mascarpone polenta was very good. Now that you mention it, the goat cheese seemed similar to mascarpone.

Wow that looks beautiful ! And AS beautiful, your friend at the end. Very nice.
