Good evening,
I have a question that seems to be answered by personal preference. I plan on cooking spares at about 225 for five hours or so. My question is direct or indirect. 3/1/1 is the method I plan to use but I don't know the best way to use the fire, (Direct or Indirect.) Any suggestions would be appreciated.[p]Thanks,
Louisiana Redneck

Louisiana Redneck,[p]Ribs have been the hardest cook since I got my egg. The best result was indirect at 250°- 275° for about five hours. When I pulled them off the meat between the bones was 194°. It was higher than I wanted...so my goal for next time will be 185°. Like I said before, I am FAR from an expert on ribs.
