would you use pampered chef stone ware in your egg ?

    A lot of reports here of them cracking. I would stick with the BGE stone

    No..they don't hold up under the eggs temps...and your "?" as a topic is a PIA to reply to....ask your question publicly..

    Please use something more than 1 character in your Subject. Pretty ambiguous as well as a real pain to click on.

    I and many others have cracked a Pampered Chef's stone when using in the egg. I ended up going to Walmart and picking up a real thick pizza stone which was pretty inexpensive.

    There are some other types of material one could use also. Ceramic shops usually have kiln shelf's that would work well and these are pretty inexpensive also.

    I have one and the only thing I have used it for is on low and slow cooks as the indirect barrier. I would not use it for higher heat. Like the others stated, it is too thin and will probably crack if you try to use it for pizza or bread. Get a stone that is about 3/4" thick. Ceramic grill store, walmart, Fibrament, BGE, etc.
