Cherry chunks in Central Texas

Not sure if it is just here but in 3 weeks including looking in Austin, no Cherry Chunks (lots of chips).
Am I alone in trying to find cherry wood now?
Salado TX & 30A  FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given another Mini to add to the herd.

    I think I can hook you up Mickey. Kari and I were talking about how my Minesoooota stash was running low. She said, no problem.She's got a place that has some. Let me or her know buddy how much you want. Because you WILL be in Texas in 25 days!!! :)

    Steve I was in Frisco Sunday at the mall at BBQ G and they had none.

    You might check with local meat markets that supply BBQ'ers. They typically carry a supply of lump charcoal and smoking woods. I'm not sure about Cherry though. I'll try to remember to look at my local store.

    Meanwhile, you can nail a bunch of cherry chips together LOL

    Mickey, next time you are up this way you can either call me or go to Hirshs Specialty Meats in Plano. He carries all of Chigger Creeks wood,chunks and chips. He has Chigger Creek lump, too. I bought a 50# box of apple wood last Friday. Still not sure about the Texas Fest. I'll make up my mind in a day, or so. The Plano Fest is still coming along. The dates are on the Naked Whiz map. A banner should be up soon.
