P90X
I just ordered the P90X Exercise Program. I have been fighting my weight for awhile and not being able to lose weight on a consistent basis, I have to do something. I know it isn't the cure all but what do I have to lose beside $120.
Has anyone here tried this program and/or are doing it ? Any thoughts ?

i heard it's hard as hell, but if you stick with it, you will have great results. a girl i know did it and posted before and after photos and i really couldn't believe the difference it made. (this girl in no way needed to "lose weight", but whatever p90x does, it was good)

My daughter is about 3/4 the way through it. She hasn't lost much weight but she sure is looking better and has built up muscle. It really kicked her butt the first few discs but now she can get through the program.

I just got it. I have been going through it half the workout and doing it every other day. I think if you stick with it, there is no reason it wont work. You will be sore. Stick with it and follow the workout. No pain, no gain.

if you keep up to it and eat healthy, theres no way all that excersize wont work you should post on the weight loss forum, some weeks i seem to be drinking alone over there :laugh: p90 is something ive been reluctant to buy, not sure i could stay with it, what size weights does it start off with and how long are the workoutsfukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it

I am using bands. Weights are what you want to start at. I will use the bands for now due to cost. The work out is about 60 min, except the Yoga portion which is 90 min. That is ridiculous. I just started and have been doing 1/2 the workout and not every day.

i dont think i could do or want to do 60 to 90 minutes myself. 20 to 30 could be tolerable. might just stick with my barbell and beer planfukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it

I have found walking 4 miles a day in 75 minutes and eating lots of apples get me to lose weight, also stay away from frozen yorgurt, it make life sticky

You really need to follow the diet, for it to work.
People make dieting so complicated. It comes down to Calories in vs Calories out.
