advice please about some jalepenos

Today my wife stopped by our new MEGGA Wally World and picked out 24 beautiful, hard jalepenos which will make kick *ss ABTs. Trouble is...I can't deal with them any time before Saturday at the earliest for preparation and egging them won't be until Sunday. What is the best way to keep them in good condition for 4 or 5 days? In the frig? Out of the frig? In a dark place? etc etc etc
