Help quick - hole sizes for table-top

I have a local company giving me a price on a large piece of polished blue stone for a table-top; they are willing to cut the holes. Can anyone give me the size opening for both a large and small egg? Thanks.

Large measures 21 1/2" at the gasket level, small 15 1/2",,,, sorry I don't have a XL.

I would suggest you measure your own egg if you intend to make it a tight fit..not all eggs measure exactly the same..

Thanks, Wess; a good idea...could they be that different?...I'm thinking not more than 1/4 to 1/2" difference tops? Because I think that would be fine...I will measure when I get home. Thanks again, J

You're thinking 1/4 to 1/2 is probably a very good reference..that's why I said to measure if you plan to have the egg a "tight" fit...I probably have less than an 1/8" clearance around my egg..so just ball park figures mighta caused me a problem.....what "I" did was to take the dome and bands off the base, and used the bands to draw out my circle, but again I was trying to get as tight a fit as possible....You'll be fine..
