Cooking in the Rain

VAEgger,
in case you haven't already been cautioned...NEVER touch that cap when or right after cooking. It gets unbelieveably hot and will sear your skin! Otherwise they are a terrific eggcessory to us in climates where rain doesn't pour it dumps!

VAEgger,[p]I use a piece of foil to protect the guru or pit minder e-temp. I close it around the neck of the adapter and then use a couple of wire bread ties to keep it from blowing away. It lets you lift up on it and check it if you need, but also keeps the rain off of it. Works great for me as I think I've done more overnighters in the rain than not.[p]Cheers,[p]GrillMeister
