Saw a nice hand hammered carbon steel wok today in a local store. It measures 16" diameter rim to rim, 17.75" handle to handle, about 5" deep, round bottom. Is it a good size for Large with a spider? Any advice from current wokkers would be much appreciated.

That sounds like the same size I use on my large. I have a cast iron 16 inch round bottom one from the wok shop. I flip the spider upside down when I cook.

That's a perfect size for the large. I've got a large and a medium, so I went with the 14".

Thanks. Just measured the old wok that's reserved for the egg...it's 14.5 inch and shallower. Going to go back to buy this one.
