HELLO EGGHEADS.I haven't spoke to anyone for a while except GrillinBill. I have been real tied up getting the new GREEN EGGS and HOG BBQ TEAM trailer togehter.Pam and I are heading to MEMPHIS next week for the World Champion BBQ Contest. I will post some pictures after the event to let you see how the EGGS rest among the big steel cookers.I have six large eggs mounted on the trailer. I will be cooking the Ribs,Chicken Wings,Beef,Excotic,and 2 sauce competitons.
If anyone of you makes the event we are at R021 in the rib section facing the Mississippi River.[p]It looks as if the forum is really growing,lots of new names.Also looking forward to Eggtoberfest 2000. I plan to bring the Green Eggs and Hog unit this year.

SloppyPig,[p]I would love to see that creation! I really wanna go to MIM some year (this year!). I wanna taste how all wood food Q'd on a monster sized metal offset cooker tastes and see how food from the BGE compares. I saw that Al Roker special from last year's MIM and the quantities of meat being cooked at one time brought a tear to my eye.[p]Best of luck at MIM and please post pictures for those of us not fortunate enough to attend.[p]Cornfed

BluesnBBQ,cooking smoked alligator tail marinated in olive oil,balsamic,and other spices,top with cajun seasoning wraped in bacon stuffed with combo mix of cream cheese,crawfish,and chives.I think it will be good.never cooked it before

My family just moved to the Memphis area. As a recent Egg owner (Dec 99'), the "Memphis in May" BBQ contest is something I have been looking forward to attending - spectator only. Best of luck in the contest, I can't wait to see that trailer![p]Wade
