30lbs cooking with the new Guru...no problems so far

The poke has been on since 5:30 EST, and it is now 11:51. Of the five butts I am watching the temp on three. They are all around 150-160 there isn't really a crust formed yet, is that a problem? But man alive that egg is stuffed to the rim like Brim! I am suprised air can circulate in there. Oh well, it seems to be working.[p]I also have about 100 big wings and 30 big drumsticks to cook. I have 2 webers, a gasser, small, and large...my question is how to jockey that many wings indirectly. By my calculations I can only get about 60 wings, once skewered. Any suggestions?

6:17am and the Guru has me sitting at 225 and the pork is steady at 167-177. Is this about right so far?

while never cooking that much butt at one time. ..sounds like you are holding steady in plateau mode. ..it sure sounds like you are right on track. . .with that much butt, i'm not sure how long you are likely to stay in that mode. . .hopefully one of the guys that does 'mass quantities' is up this morning and can weigh in aa well, but i really think you are in great shape. . .

When I did four butts, they acted like 1 butt. I didn't notice anything different.

3 of the butts are at 195, wrapped in foil, sitting in a cooler. One of the butts doesnt want to get hotter than 188, and one is at 190. Will pull her soon. They have been on 18 hours and the lump is still going strong.
