Hi everyone,

Really fulbbed up my last request
I would love your opion please. Would it be cheaper to build one large Table for 2 large eggs or two smaller tables? I am still up in the air about what to do. I gave the plans from the naked whiz to my builder but I have to make up my mind. Please help. Thank You in Advance.

    Q.
will they stay put or moved around?

    Q.
will they be protected or do you plan to use a cover?

    Q.
    do you have space limitations?

Two would not be cheaper, but might be more versatile.

then if I were you I'd go with just one table and be sure it's long enough that there is ample work space on each end and maybe even some in the middle! Don't want to play devil's advocate but any chance you will be adding a small egg in the future? A small situated between 2 larges would be really cool! Needless to say I'm a big fan of a large and small combo! :P

  • Another thing to consider is will two tables give you more work space than the single table, and which option gives you enough space to prepare for your cooking?

You need to give us a little more info on what you are trying to accomplish. Two large eggs in one table will abolutely not be portable, but using the Whiz's basic design and putting an egg on each end of a 7-8ft long table would, I think, be an awesome setup. 24-30 inches for each egg and 3-4 feet in between for work area.
If you want to move them around definetely go with individual tables. I have two larges, each in ther own table and with good wheels, and they are a pain to move on the rare occasion it is necessary.

I want a table to put my eggs in and also work space, later on I my do a bbq table on the side of it. Use it as a buffett table or work table. I am not moving it once it is built. It will stay there. We tore down the shed down yesterday and am using that concrete slab. It is level. Thanks a bunch.

I think you are trying to crowd a lot into a small space, but I would go with what I said earlier, one table in the 90" space with an egg on each end and work space in the middle, you might want to make your buffet table portable B) .

    Capt Frank,

I am going with your idea. Since the table will not be portable. Thanks for advice. Are you going to the OKC Fest?

I'd go with one table. Make sure there's work space in the middle!

Thanks, I hope it works out for you [I'm sure it will] :) . Let me know if I can be of any more assistance. B)
Sorry, OKC is not in my plans this year, I hope to spend most of my summer fishing here in Florida after the miserable winter we have had. Took my boat out in the Gulf today for only the third time since January :(

You sure you want to put all your eggs in one (basket) table? Having an option to seperate for what ever reason would be good. Maybe two tables that hook to each other, with the ability to unhook and move them if need be?
