well, i did it last night, escargot on the egg. . .they were delicious. . .i set up the egg at 425 degrees with plate setter in feet-down. .. [p][p]here's the ingredients. ..snails, butter, shallots, parsley, and the shells/escargot plates. . .(i used shallots rather than garlic since my wife can't eat garlic, otherwise, you should use garlic and lots of it). ..[p][p]here they are, butter mixture and snails stuck in the shells, ready to go on the egg. . .[p][p]on to the egg. . [p][p]about 20 minutes later, sizzling and ready to pull off the egg. ..you want the egg hot, but just not hot enough to burn the butter. . .425 - 450 worked perfect. .[p][p]and ready to east with a nice fresh baguette. . .man, they were good. ..the were the appetizer prior to t-rexed steaks for dinner. . .what a meal. ..
