ok, so I went to the store to buy some lump, and did the usual price comparison, etc., yada yada. Bought some. It looked like a good deal for natural stuff.
Today I open the bag 'cause I'm gonna spatchcock a couple a chickens, and...

it's briquets. damn![/b] I haven't bought briquets in 30 years!!!!!

so, I'm sorry. I repent. I didn't mean to, but you know what? I have these chickens and the egg, and I can't return 'em and.. and.. I'm using the f*ing stuff.

I won't let you know how it turns out, for god's sake, I dont want to know how it turns out :blink:

I will have to find a way to atone, no doubt.

    I've used Wicked Good "natural" briquettes. They burned just fine, but there was still so much ash that just a few hours clogged the fire box air holes. The food will be good, but be ready for piles of ash.
