I'm trying to justify the mini. I have a medium now. The real reason I want it is to use it on over night offshore trips. You know, catch-filet-eat fishing. Does this thing do the same as my medium? Will this little guy get up to 700 degrees? Any thoughts? Give me the pros and cons!

eggsfisherman,[p]The mini is a great addition! I started with a medium, added a mini and have sice upgraded the medium to a large. I still use the mini on a regular basis.[p]i don't know if it reached 700 degrees, but everything is very close to the fire. I regularly do steaks on it as well a chicken, dogs, sausage andhave even tried a but (2 lbs and it was very good).[p]Like Nike says ... "Just do it"![p]Smokey

    eggsfisherman,
It reaches 700 very easly. In fact it is harder to keep at a lower temp than my medium is.
