Bordello[p]Note,
I have a new email address.
-
Chris,[p]Looks like Woo grilled those direct on elevated grid?? Any marinade or Dizzy doctoring?[p]TRex
-
Nature Boy,[p]Got news for you dude...them ain't shrooms...they may be mushrooms...but they're not srooms...of coarse I'll never admit knowing just what "shrooms" are...but...you wouldn't want them on your egg.
BTW...they sure look good though.[p]P.

Nature Boy,
Did WooDoggie do any dancing in them bare feet around the cooker? I don't have the gonads to grill in bare feet anymore.
Yes, I talk from experience. And those embers burn deep.lol
Mushrooms are a wonderful thing.[p]Bob

Painter,
i think if you take a good look at the second photo WOODOGIE has dome some dancin, and is ready to dance some more, should his dance partner be steppin on his foot or the other way around

NB:[p]Those fungi just look gorgeous! I'll bet they were some good eating too! Almost . . . And I reiterate almost, makes me want to make up with the S-I-L . . .

Nature Boy, Do I see Chantarell's in there!!??
-
Philntheblanks, now you've done peaked my interest? What exactly do you call a shroom? And should I laugh when I see them on the menu at Logan's Roadhouse Restaurant?[p]Later,
Hugh Jass

TRex,
Woo said he was gonna post his recipe/technique, but he seems to be getting sidetracked by this really, really pretty, smart and pleasant girl he is involved with. Understandable I s'pose. He'll be along as soon as he snaps back to reality! LOL.
Cheers!

Hey TRex,[p]They were brushed with extra virgin olive oil, sprinkled lightly with Tsunami Spin and straight onto the grill.[p]You are right. They were cooked direct over an established bed of spread out coals that ran about 450 - 500 degrees dome temp.[p]I cooked them on a raised grid so I wouldn't burn them for all of the distraction around me ..... otherwise I would have done them closer to the coals on the fire ring level. [p]They cooked about 20 minutes flipping 2 or three times and pulled off when they got a nice light brown color with the edges ever so slightly charred.
They are best eaten when they are still almost too hot to pop in your mouth and they went perfectly with Chris's TRexed Cow Licked top sirloin.[p]They are so meaty and flavorfull, you could use them as a main dish.[p]John[p][p]

Sorry for the delay, dude. I was off to the WooKitties Ranch long before you posted......... oobs!

WooDoggies,[p]Thanks! Sounds delicious. I just received my first shaker of Tsunami Spin, so I will have to try this. Just have to figure out what kind of mushrooms to use - can't find those beauties at our local grocery store.[p]TRex
