PEARL Update
If ALL of you are seeing this twice, then I REALLY apologize!!Some of you may recall that I drove to Mass last week to buy Pearl franks (36 mile round trip)... from the same grocery chain that has a store just two miles from my house (where I do most of my shopping as it's on my way to everywhere). The Connecticut stores don't carry Pearls though.
So, after tasting these delicacies, I decided it was worth a shot so I went to the Contact Us link on their website, gave them the product name and UPC and asked them to carry Pearls here. That was last Saturday. This morning, I got a call from my local store telling me they will now be stocking them and that they should have them in TOMORROW! One week after I asked!!
I am impressed!! Hope they sell well enough so they continue to carry them. Cool, huh?
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Very cool Michael!! Wonder if they would do that for Colorado?

I really was surprised. I imagine they would have said no if they didn't already carry them in their Mass stores. But still, I was impressed.

Hey Carolina Q
Is this the missing original?
Dawgs... PEARL Dawgs!!
The ever so user friendly forum software we have here must like me, it took me about 30 seconds to find it, max.

Sorry, Mol - but they don't have any Stop and Shop grocery stores in CO. Doesn't mean you couldn't ask whoever you DO have to carry them.
Hey, you never know... I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Yup, that's it. I could find it easily enough, but I had to LOOK for it. As opposed to it just showing up at the top of the list.

I have to confess, I went to your profile and clicked on resent posts. I spent more time waiting for the screens to come up.
Glad to hear their going to carry the Pearls for you. I wish it was that easy down here. I know BJ's carries them but I am fighting joining another club. When I lived in Maine we always had Reds that were made by Jordon's now made by Kayem. I have yet to find a great local dog down here. Maybe I need to go on a quest! LOL.

Reds are in most of the stores here. But I don't want a dog that looks like it's been painted!

Surely you know someone who has a BJ's membership. Get 'em to buy some for you. The Pearl guy told me BJ's carried them on the east coast so I asked him for a list of the stores that did carry them. Told him I would post it here when I got it, figuring that would get his attention. I haven't heard back from him yet.
But what do I care? Mine are 2 miles away!!!

Good for you! I always have at least half a dozen in the freezer. The store that carry's them is a 20 minute drive away Hehehehe.
But, the best Pearl is one that our friend Fred grills for us. Should be opening the store ant time now! Stay tuned. -
I'm sure Fred's are great, but Wakefield is at least an hour and a half from me. Hmmm, Fred cooks 'em on an egg, I cook 'em on an egg. Maybe I should open a stand.

In fact, all this Pearl talk MADE me cook 'em up on the fireplace Mini tonight. 1/4 lb Pearl, buttered and grilled split top, spicy brown mustard, red onions and BOMBA!! My friends, these are GREAT dogs!!!I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

I also love shopping at my grocer because of their great response to their customers.
I have never had a pearl hot dog. Are they that good? This is the greatest signature EVAR!
