Wok/steamer advice for a newbie

I am in the process of fleshing out my BGE setup, and want to get away from cooking indoors.
As i am a complete newbie to woks, i was wondering what type and are there any requirements to pair one with a bamboo steamer? Curious as to the difference of cast iron vs the carbon steel?
The local bed bath & beyond has nothing as far as selection goes really. Just some indoor woks, which wont really work since i want to put it inside the egg.
Right now i only cook for myself and the wife, so i do not need a giant work area, and i did pick up the spider from the ceramic grill store. would a 14" wok & 10" steamer work? or is there a certain ratio people like to maintain?
I did a search but came up empty. Any help would be appreciated.

Make it easy on yourself and go to the ceramic grill store www.ceramicgrillstore.com and get a spider rig and the wok. You wont do better for a setup with the egg.

Sorry for the earlier response. I failed to completely read your question. There is no particular ratio that is needed, but your wok should be large enough to protect tie steamer from the intense heat generated by the lump. I would still get the 16" wok from Tom and any steamer that is adequate for your needs will be fine, besides they are stackable if more area is required. The 16" wok should provide plenty of protection to a moderate stack of steamers.
