Yep, you got it! Some rays there, more rif cut than quarter sawn. Other pieces more prevalent of the rays. Love the stuff. JD is aged in white oak, that how it gets it's character flavor. That's how my tables get character also. :P

It was pretty easy.... You know I've admired your Mini Egg cooks for years, and some of your early mods too. I've come close to pulling the trigger on one several times.

I recall you posted a photo of a table last year with a great design, so I put 2+2 together. It was a take-down design right?

Yeah, last years table was knock down. So is this one with some changes. I designed in ball bearing friction catches that snap the legs to the underside of the table for quick setup. Works great. Also the legs fold up. Everything about the table is substantial and sturdy, as an egg table should be. This table also has a fireproof base ring for the mini to sit on. Innovation. Another pic tomorrow. :cheer:

Not a prize, but for a raffle. New Mini and Clay's table. Lots of surprises await those that attend. I could tell you, but then I would have to show you PBM, in one of his Pork Butt Speedos..OMG, the visual.......... :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

does one have to be present to win or will the raffle be open to all Eggdom? Think over your answer first - not sure if your raffle has a fund raiser intent or not, but if it does you could probably raise far more money if all Eggdom had a shot! Just an idea created due to cabin fever!

Fair question. If you open it up to eggdom then you run into tons of interstate laws and problems. The raffle is to help recoup some of the expenses since this is TOTALLY "For Eggers, By Eggers". The goal is to only lose $1.00 after everything is said and done. The raffle winner needs to be present to win.

    Morning Tim:

Will the mini and the table be a separate raffle...since some of us have a mini already?

    Have a GREAT day!
