VeggieGuy, first - your right , it is heresy! and 2nd...forget the small BGE, I'd hate to see it go to waste sitting there cooking nothing but veggies and pizza...well go ahead and get it , maybe you can let friend borrow it to cook some meat in from time to time...for recipes go to the "search" at bottome of the screen and look for the veggie stuff you want.

My buddy, who does not eat any meat just bought an egg. I still have it here, but he will be picking it up soon. He really has no idea what he has ahead of him![p]Veggies are righteous when cooked at high heat on the egg. Incredible.[p]Pizzas, calzones, quesadillas, bread, and almost any kind of baking you can imagine, is fabulous on the egg. Te possibilities are really only limited by your imagination.[p]Cheers!

VeggieGuy,
It's ok, it's not your fault.... LOL![p]Seriously, I have a large and a small. You should get a large (it looks like a LARGE avocado). Regarding pizza, I have a 16 inch stone that I use in my large and it is perfect for baking the 14 inch pies I buy unbaked from a pizza joint. However, if you insist on a small, it will do pizzas fine. It will bake onion pies and tomato pies. It will also do meat things, but there I go... [p]Re vegetables, if you are going to grill them, a small only has a 13 inch grid, so again a large might be a better choice for grilling potatoe slices, zuchinni slices, chicken wings, oops there I go again....[p]But, depending on what types of veggie things you want to do, the small might be ok, but the large will be more versatile. Do you ever have veggie parties where you would want to prepare food for a crowd? [p]Whatever you decide, good luck!

Nature Boy,
I forgot about wokking in my post!! That's another good reason for getting the large. Are squiddlies meat? :-)[p]TNW
The Naked Whiz -
VeggieGuy, It gives vege burgers, tofu, and those gardenburger chic fillets a really nice flavor. Yummy veges too. I eat a lot of vegetarian meals to help lower my cholesterol.

VeggieGuy, Are you vegan? If not than vege pizza or calzones with cheese is yummy too. Probably be yummy without cheese too.

The Naked Whiz, BYOM? Bring Your Own Meat? Geez, what will they think of next!![p]I might go to a veggie grilling party if invited. But I can assure you I would stop and eat me a big 'ol juicy burger before I got there! lol[p]Hugh Jass

VeggieGuy,
my wife doesn't like the stromboli made with pepperoni, so i made one with sauted mushrooms/peppers/onions (done in a grill wok like nature boy's picture), then chopped and layered in with the cheese. . .[p][p]here it is prior to rolling
[p]and here it is on the egg. . . this stromboli is fantastic!!. . .thanks to chuck for the recipe. . .

mad max beyond eggdome,
besides what everybody else said, don't forget anything you would normally bake in the oven. . .lasaga, baked beans, casseroles, deserts (i do a peach/apple crisp that is unbelievable). . .[p]and like nature boy said, get the large so that you can fit in your wok, baking dishes, etc. . ..
