My Dad calls and says

hey, there's a mobile bbq cart, let's go to lunch.
I said sure.
She showed up on facebook too.




I bombarded her with questions. She, basically, went online looking for a cart. Found one, turned to her newly unemployeed husband and said I have to have this. He, apparentlly said, yes dear.
Asked about her passion for cooking/bbqing. Her response, no background.
I could taste the no background.
Nuther post of I went to a bbq place that the last sentance ends in, I should of cooked at home.

I had a gift card to Longhorn Steakhouse from work, so I took my wife out to eat. It was nice having a meal without cooking it, but everything we ate was not as good as what we do at home - whole wheat bread, french onion soup, filet. Well except for the fried shrimp my wife got - we don't do that at home.

Still, it was nice to eat out for free.

I know what you mean, though.

Molly, is she smoking the stuff, or just cooking everything inside and calling it BBQ?? It was nice of your Dad to bring you along to see it though.

Now you know why I always say "No more lunches out at BBQ places for the Egghead lunch crowd". Us Eggers make better BBQ at home!

So she, in my opinion, semi smoked it. She has an electric smoker and holds the food in the box. I asked to see her joint. The set up is real nice, if you know what you are doing to utilize it to the fullest potencial. When she opened the e smoker there were like mice turd (not even a handful) pellets. Very nice lady, and responded to my enthusiastic BGE talk. Fun to hang with my dad and my step mom. Dicecting the meal was fun to.

Well, I don't know about no smoke pellets. I think it was nice that she showed you around and you and your Dad enjoyed it. I hope you didn't mention the forum and if you did I hope she doesn't check it out tonight!! Yikes!

Molly I know the feeling......we don't go out half as much as we used to.......one becomes really choosy about food......& seeing your creations i can understand why you felt like that......nice to spend sometime with your Dad......& much better behaved than those friends at the Ice Fest :laugh:
