Spreading the BGE gospel the easy way

Today I attended our local annual home builders' show. There were 250 vendors hawking a myriad of services. For kicks and giggles I wore my denim BGE shirt with the embroidered green egg and slogan.

I just walked around looking at the displays for about 90 minutes. I was a walking billboard as I saw many people reading my shirt. I was stopped by total strangers 8 times asking if I had a booth there today, which gave me a way to talk up the BGE. 4 others started conversations that their brother or uncle or neighbor had an egg and one guy tried to rib me because he owns a Pr*mo and I just replied that's too bad! :laugh: I even encountered two couples who have taken my cooking classes.

If you knew me I'm not one who normally draws attention to myself, but when I am spreading the BGE word I come out of my shell!

    Update to you on the suppoed to do demo today. Tim, from ace calls at 7:45 pm and says are you still on. I say no, I have not heard from you guys. Did you think I'm buying everything and just showing up? He said he sent an email. He did not. Screw em. You might have been right Ron.     I agree I suppose I should have done that, but my dealer dropped out of participating in this show 4 or 5 years ago as they didn't see it was worth the effort. I'm carrying the banner for my love of the egg.
