Ono natural lump

Anybody ever use this stuff? I recently purchased a small egg and also this lump from BBQs Galore. A majority of the bag was super small pieces the size of a quarter or less (plus a few trees)... Did I get a bad bag? Anybody have issues with the BGE brand? I know the BGE stuff is double the price, but I have already burned through a large bag of this stuff only cooking with it 5 times. Plus a lot of issues trying to get this stuff lit.

You can do a search on the forum for Ono to see what others say about it. You should also check out the Naked Whiz site for his lump reviews.
Personally, I like Royal Oak that I get at WalMart for $6.37 for a 10lb bag. It lights well, does not spark too much, has low ash, and burns hot and long. Plus it is inexpensive compared to BGE or any other kind of lump you would buy at BBQs Galore.
Just my two cents, but why throw away money on lump when there are so many accessories, rubs, and meats you want to buy when you have a BGE. -
Thanks for the info. I actually ran across the info on Naked Whiz's site right after I posted. I tried the search function and it came up with nothing... I assume it was my error.
It looks like I need to head to Wally Mart and pick up some RO. There aren't many WMs in Los Angeles... wish me luck.
Thanks again!
