I am researching for a future purchase. Unfortunately where I live we have horrible salesman and they can't answer this. What is the real difference between a Primo smoker and a Big Green Egg.

I think the number 1 thing is Customer Service from BGE

My dealer has both but sells more of the BGE

The only primo owners I know either also have an egg or wish they did.

Did you notice that you got 4 responses in the 10 minutes after your post? I think that shows that the forum is a HUGE advantage of Egg ownership.

A friend of mine bought a Primo and has to drive 100 miles to pick up stuff he had to order or have to wait to have it come in or ship it to him. I can drive 10 miles and get anything I want with no waiting. The Egg is the way to go.

My local Ace has the Primo and not the Big Green Egg.
