My boiled ribs will be sent ASAP.
All joking aside, make sure you get Rebbecas. She is going to have something great.

Mike -
You already have my "LONEY" recipe.

Hi John,
Del and I won't be cooking at the fest but we're going to be doing some things at the "after party". Do you those recipes in your book?
We're really looking forward to seeing you and Joan. It should be a great time. We have 10 of our family members that live in FL coming up for it. Can hardly wait to see everyone.
When do you and Joan get in? -
A little more single malt and I won't feel or remember the pain and punishment of the "LONEY" Fest. LOL
-
-
LOL!!! I love it Richard!! Too funny. You'll be in the company of a few other single malt lovers. Del is a huge fan of it as well as my brother-in-law and nephew who will all be there. Oh yeah, and Egret is a lover of it too. Although I think he may have switched over to tequilla.
I look forward to seeing but not your "Loney". -
There is a "loney" throwdown winner on the B site. I am afraid to look. That is what you have done to me. LOL
Mike -
I have already busted the bank for my contributions. Had to take out a a third mortgate loan for the single malt!!!
-
Are you supplying all of us? Balvenie 25 year old is my preference.

I found that by boiling them in vinger they come out real tender. :woohoo:
-
Afraid to look, WHY?? are you a closet LONEY lover???
-
I was looking at some $50-$75 single malt this evening at my local vendor, but had to get my LONEY costs into perspective. More on the news at 11!!
-
I think we have to do a cooler check at sign in, and if I find any Loney in a cooler then the cooler the Loney and the Loney person will be escorted off the premises. I think I know someone big enough to handle this matter. :woohoo:
-
But I still like you.
Mike -
I am a CHEEP date this time, may take you to a local micro if you help with the car gas costs to get there.

Mike, my brother-in-law that's going to be at the FL fest is 6'4" and about 275lbs. He could give you a hand if you need help.
-
Since when are you a scotch drinker??? And quit stirring up trouble.
I was talking to Norma today and she said she can't log on to the forum. I told her to do a post to see if the forum members can come up with a new handle for her. What do you think about that brainstorm? -
Appetizer, Grilled Bologna, Richard Fl.
INGREDIENTS:
1-4 lbs Bologna, Chub (I used Smithfield pork/chicken)
Marinade:
1/3 cup Italian Salad Dressing
1/3 cup favorite BBQ Sauce
Add when placing on BGE,
Some favorite rub
Procedure:
1 Score the chub down the sides about 1/4 inch deep and about 6 cuts. Cut the chub
2 into 3 pieces of about equal size. Took a Chinese wooden chop stick and pierced
3 several holes to absorb the marinade. Marinated overnight in the refrigerator.
4 Next day, took out of the refrigerator and sprinkled some rub & cooked indirect, on
5 vertical axis, at 325° F. for about 1 & 1/2 hours. Added a few apple wood chunks
6 for smoke. Pulled at 170° F. Basted with marinade every 20-30 minutes. Serve with
7 favorite bbq sauce.
8 Also, when sliced, makes a great sandwich.
