Smoked Salts

I smoked some salts today to use in future cooks. I did a batch of Sea Salt and a batch of Kosher Salt.

I smoked the Sea Salt using Hickory...

I then pulled what Hickory chunks that were left and smoked the Kosher Salt with Apple...

Both turned out pretty good but I have to admit that the apple smoked salt turned out the better of the two.
This is the greatest signature EVAR!
