Aaron, I do not foil but I do spitz the ribs every hr. with Apple juice and a little Apple vinegar, have a great cook when you do it

I know what thats like bill, I used to work all over the World and the States in all the seasons outside and inside thats why I live in So Cal. I tossed all my cold weather gear out when I retired

Ross, On my last rib cook I sprayed butter on my ribs every time I open the dome. Can't really say if it made a difference.
I have not tried to moisturize my ribs using apple juice/cider.
What does it do for them?
What are the proportions on the spritz 50/50?
