I am looking into getting one for sticking into the meet. is the digital probe one on the egg any good or what other ones do you all suggest? Thanks

what about the Maverick RediChek Remote Wireless Smoker Thermometer? I found these on amazon for $35.. Are they junk? Has anyone used these? Thanks

I bought one a year or so ago for 20 bucks on Woot and it's still working fine.

How does the BGE instant read thermometer stack up against the Thermopen?

I like the Maverick ET-73 for longer cooks when I want to monitor the dome temp as well. Works well on most cooks. I also have a Walmart special cordless monitoer that works well for when you want to leave the probe in. You can't forget the Thermapen for general instant read use either
